Trader Joes Breading Pudding with Kahlua…yes, this combination tastes as amazing and delicious as it sounds.
Even without the Kahlua liqueur drizzled on top, this Trader Joes Salted Caramel Bread Pudding earns my rating of 5 stars out of 5 for taste, texture, price and ease of preparation.

I love that Trader Joes assumes that one-fourth of a loaf is a serving…
This Trader Joes Salted Caramel Bread Pudding comes frozen, and I was amused and pleased by Trader Joe’s assumption that you’ll serve yourself one-fourth of the loaf inside. This is some rich bread pudding, and a quarter of the loaf is probably more than most people would serve themselves. Still, I think that overestimating consumption is so much better than the irritating habit of most packagers, which is to underestimate consumption.

So let ‘s get to it: just open the box and pull out the loaf, which has a plastic wrap cover. Then simply remove the plastic film cover….

Just microwave Trader Joes Bread Pudding…it’s faster and the results are perfect!
…and let the loaf of bread pudding defrost on the kitchen counter for 30 minutes.

You can also keep the loaf wrapped and let it defrost overnight in the fridge.

Slice up some Trader Joe’s Bread Pudding!
Then just remove the outer paper “tray” and slice up however much you want to serve. For any extra that you don’t cut, just wrap it in plastic and store it in the fridge.

A slice of Trader Joes Bread Pudding ready to microwave
I usually microwave each slice for about 30 seconds on high… adjust the times depending on the wattage of your microwave oven and on how warm you want your serving to be.
Then serve up your warmed slice of Trader Joe’s Salted Caramel Breading Pudding on a plate. At this point, you could serve it straight up, or drizzled with something like maple syrup or…

Trader Joes Bread Pudding pairs with Kahlua so perfectly
…Kahlua! This coffee-flavored liqueur soaks into the Trader Joes Salted Caramel Bread Pudding and creates a match made in culinary heaven.

This is so elegant and delicious, and an almost laughably easy way to serve an impressive dessert.

Does it look as good as the package photo? Yes, better actually!
Is it as good as it looks on the back of TJ’s package? Yes! Again, it looks especially appetizing when served in puddles of golden brown Kalhua liqueur.
It’s ture…Trader Joes Salted Caramel Bread Pudding and Kahlua are culinary soulmates. You can find the Salted Caramel Bread Pudding in Trader Joe’s freezer case, and the Kahlua liqueur at your closest liquor store. My rating of TJ’s Salted Caramel Bread Pudding: 5 stars out of 5.
