Know what the Wroot wore Wednesday? This cashmere duster cardigan by Kenar and suede booties by Bandolino.
I happened upon this light gray cardigan at Marshalls a few years back, and I’ve worn it a lot in the cooler months with jeans and boots. Don’t you love the ruffles along the inner edge?
I’m modeling next to the sculpture Garden Goddess, by my beautiful and talented mother. It was only later while editing these photos that I realized that the ruffles in the sweater mimic the ruffly waves in the lovely sculpture.
The jeans were thrifted, an the inside tags show that they’re Lola jeggings by Aeropostale. I rolled the legs up to show off the cut of the pretty booties recently purchased at Marshalls.
These chic suede booties by Bandolino have a patent leather heal and a tiny elevation rim, a nice touch that dresses them up a bit. The elastic portion on the outer ankle helps to make these ankle boots ever so comfortable.
I also wore boot socks with light-colored print to help define the cut and look of the booties. These stylish booties also look fab with tights and a skirt, which I plan to model soon!
Duster cashmere cardigan by Kenar purchased at Marshalls several years ago (similar here and here ), black suede booties by Bandolino purchased recently of Marshalls (similar), thrifted Lola jeggings (which fit more like jeans on me) by Aeropostale (same), black turtleneck sweater by Red Camel purchased years ago at Belk (similar), borrowed pearl and crystal necklace purchased at Ann Taylor (similar).
