Know what the Wroot Wore Wednesday?  A ruffled blouse and brand new Sam Edelman pumps!

Loitering in ruffles and pumps

Loitering in ruffles and pumps

I haven’t bought pumps or shoes for the office in over 18 months, so it was kind of special to buy these sexy but comfortable Zola pumps by Sam Edelman, which I came across at Marshall’s.

Black suede Sam Edelman pumps are stylish and comfortable

These Sam Edelman pumps are black suede, and even though they’re pointy-toed, I find them to be super comfortable, perhaps because the toe, it seems to me, points out a little more than many of the other pumps that I tried on.

These suede Sam Edelman pumps have a touch of contrasting black leather on the heel, which is a nice touch.  These are size 8, which is what I normally wear, so they seem to be true to standard sizing.

I have to say that I love these Sam Edelman pumps.  The “toe cleavage” and heel height make them sexy, and yet they’re comfortable enough to wear all day long at the office.  These pumps also would look great with a little black dress for evening, don’t you think?

For the What the Wroot Wore Wednesday this week, I also decided on this ruffled blouse by Violet & Claire.

I’ll admit that this blouse is probably ten years old, and ruffles aren’t super popular right now, but I still can’t help but love this top with its funky blue and black pattern.

To the outfit, I added a gray pencil skirt made of a comfortable stretch knit, and finally a wide stretchy black belt.

And happy Fall to all of you!

Thanks so much Dawn! A few ruffles in the office makes the day at work go by faster!
