This week on What the Wroot Wore Wednesday, the Wroot’s older daughter is a featured guest. She was kind enough to model some of her new Christmas clothing gifts that she received while she was home visiting recently (she couldn’t stay until Christmas, so we celebrated early this year).
While shopping the juniors department at Kohl’s, she and I came across these fleece-lined leggings by Pink Republic, which my daughter is delighted with–she says they’re cozy and super comfortable.
The next day, while shopping on her own at Designer Show Warehouse (DSW), my daughter found these Elisabet ankle booties by Mix No. 6. These adorable boots have a stacked heel and the faux leather upper is glossy enough to be considered a patent finish.
That glossy patent look definitely adds a dressiness and extra pizzazz to these chic booties. The booties pair up wonderfully with the leggings modeled here, but they’re also stylish when worn with a skirt and tights.
You might remember that I featured a wrap cardigan by Bobeau in the two most recent posts for What the Wroot Wore Wednesday here and here. I’m sort of obsessed with this style of top right now, so I guess it’s no surprise that my daughter received from me as a Christmas gift this fleece-lined black wrap cardigan by Bobeau!
My daughter says she loves this top, and found that it’s perfect to wear it over a black camisole. She normally wears a size 2 or 4. I ordered this Bobeau wrap cardigan for her in a size small, in a petite, and it turned out to fit her perfectly. Because of the fuller and looser design and styling of this piece, I think it might be a little more forgiving and easier to size if purchasing it online for yourself or as a gift.
My thanks to my gorgeous older daughter for being my guest on What the Wroot Wore Wednesday. Doesn’t she looks so pretty modeling her rad new clothes?!
