They say it’s your birthday
It’s my birthday too, yeah
They say it’s your birthday
We’re gonna have a good time
I’m glad it’s your birthday
Happy birthday to you

Origins Ginger Essence Perfume
So today was my birthday, and my sweet sister Debbie sent me a beautiful package from Origins…
…with the enclosed card above…

Origins Ginger Essence Perfume
…and when I opened it, I found this! What could be more perfect for a Ginger who loves ginger and who loves perfume and who loves beautiful things?!
The perfume, Origins Ginger Essence Perfume, comes from the company Origins that distinguishes itself by using only organic ingredients and all-natural oils.
With it was a darling little make-up bag with some little bottles of Origins lotions that I’m eager to try.
Isn’t the bottle pretty? I should say that in the last few years, I have a renewed fascination with perfumes, and I’m always eager to try new and different scents. My plan is to write some perfume reviews here in the future. To me, it’s a big plus when not only the perfume is wonderful, but its bottle is attractive too.
And yes, this Ginger sprayed on some of the Ginger Essence right away. The box describes this perfume as “sensuous”, but I didn’t find it as much sensuous as light, summery and refreshing, with hints of both ginger and citrus. Its sillage seems to be moderate, with its dry-down turning a bit more spicy. After about four hours on my wrist, the scent is still perceptible, so it has at least a moderate longevity. I know I’ll be wearing this one a lot this summer.
So, from the Beatles and this Ginger, happy birthday…go have a good time!

Happy Birthday! I didn’t know Origins was minus the nasty stuff that is in my perfume. Looking forward to trying some samples.
Hi Debra,
Thanks for commenting! I’m sure that not all non-Origins perfumes are bad for you, but I certainly like this Ginger Essence scent!
