Be brave and try a Filthy and Spicy Martini!
Be warned…this Filthy and Spicy Martini will knock you naked, in more ways than one!

Filthy martini with spicy peppers
Not only is this fabulous cocktail super strong with all of the alcohol from the vodka and vermouth, but it’s also super spicy from the pepper-stuffed green olives used for the garnish, along with some added spicy olive juice from the jar.

I love these spicy olives to garnish a martini
I came across these pepper-stuffed green olives at Marshalls a few months ago, but didn’t actually open them until the other day. Man, they are hot, but they are wonderful! You can find them at the Filthy Food website for seven dollars. Amazon has them too, but they’re more expensive there.

Pepper Stuffed Olives for Martini
The pepper-stuffed olives provide such a vivid addition to this Filthy and Spicy Martini, don’t you think? They add vivid taste too. This is the sort of cocktail that forces you to sip and savor it slowly.

Spicy and Filthy? Or Filthy and Spicy? No matter…just try one!
The recipe below calls for an ounce of vermouth to 2 and 1/2 ounces of vodka, but, from what I’ve seen and read, various people prefer different ratios of vermouth to vodka for their martinis, with some folks liking a one to one ratio of vermouth to vodka. You might want to experiment and see what suits your taste.

I’m not a huge vodka drinker, but this martini looks really good with the spiciness of the pepper. Thanks for sharing your recipe with us at the Over the Moon Link Party.
Yes, Sandy, the added spiciness really does make it special. Hope you’ll try it!
