Canned pumpkin puree, ricotta cheese, frozen banana, milk of your choice, protein powder, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice are combined in the blender for a rich and flavorful breakfast smoothie.

  • ¼ cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • ½ scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • ½ frozen and very ripe banana
  • 1 and ½ cups milk of your choice (I used unsweetened almond milk)
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup (I used sugar free)
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar and sugar substitute (I used Stevia)
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • dash of salt
  • Optional: whipped cream
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend just until smooth.
  2. Serve in tall glass and top with whipped cream, if desired.
